Health Department Director
Dr. Alina Alonso says, “Flu
season is here but it’s not
too late to get vaccinated
because the vaccine offers
long term protection against
the H1N1 virus.”
As always practice flu
prevention:
-
Avoid close contact with
people who are coughing or
otherwise appear ill.
-
Avoid touching your
eyes, nose and mouth.
-
Cover your cough and
sneezes
-
Wash hands frequently to
lessen the spread of
respiratory illness.
-
Stay home if you are
sick.
-
Get Vaccinated!
